Tanya Long has been selected via the Mondriaan Fund to be the next artist in residence at IK Paviljoen (the I Pavilion) in Oost Souburg, Zeeland, NL. The “I” building is a live / work space and the “K” building is a work / exhibition space. The pavilion is located on IK Island, which belongs to the founder and artist Jan van Munster. The island is a one acre, green oasis at the foot of the water tower where Van Munster has his studio. The residency begins 1 September and will culminate in an exhibition that opens 26 October 2014. This working period is made possible with support from the Mondriaan Fund and Stichting IK.
