AWP RETROSPECT will be on show in ACEC Apeldoorn from 17 February to 19 March 2018. With this exhibition and two publications, we look back at Abstract Wall Paintings I, II and III.
The artists who participated in AWP l, ll and lll will be represented in the exhibition with 2 paintings.
Abstract Wall Paintings started in ACEC in 2015 as an exhibition with contemporary abstract art on walls. In the last year of 2017, it grew into an international project with partner initiatives in Rotterdam, New York, Marseille and Sydney, connected with the theme year 100 years of De Stijl.
The result of Abstract Wall Paintings I, II and III was a monumental ‘sample chart’ (of almost 70 murals!) That shows the diversity of contemporary abstract art.
Foundation De Witte Mier has taken the initiative to provide a book about the AWP exhibitions in ACEC. The ACEC Foundation has also developed a brochure that also shows the international perspective. These publications are presented at the opening of AWP RETROSPECT and can be purchased from that moment on. The price of the book and the brochure is together
€ 25, – and can be ordered by mail: firstname.lastname@example.org.
